EMMA PEDRELL
Hi! I’m Emma, aka. Art Default, multidisciplinary artist focused on aesthetics. From Barcelona (1994), ‘mi tierra’ and now based in Bali ‘mi paz’.
I graduated in Fashion Design & Communications, and that’s where I discovered my passion for collage: while making my own sketchbooks for university projects.
I have been working as a creative director, stylist and collage artist for 6 years.
A lover of aesthetics, writing and in constant search of expression through graphics, writing & plastic arts.
For me aesthetic is everything that has a visual coherence, even if it’s disordered. Chaos accompanies me and I’m able to see beauty in it. That’s why my projects, both in creative direction & in collage, converge in the mixure of colors, textures, random thoughs and ideas. In the end, giving rise to my visual home.
All my artwork is wrapped in emotions, and writing is another discipline that has always accompanied me. That's why, here, you will find projects that are accompanied by a concept in which I wanted to open myself up.
